Fitchburg Open Studios is a free, self-guided, art discovery tour. This tour, allows you to visit with as many artists and locations as you desire, with each stop offering its own unique and varied experience. Using the City of Fitchburg as the “core” of the tour, Open Studios branches off to include artists in several neighboring communities, all of which are within an easy drive of each other. Simply grab a map, plan your day, and enjoy a little “leaf peeping” along the way!
Whether you’re an experienced collector, new to the art scene, or simply curious about art and the creative process, this is an incredible opportunity to experience first-hand the actual working spaces, exhibition spaces, and studios of some of the most accomplished artists in the greater Fitchburg area. You will have an open and welcoming invitation to meet the artists, network, watch demonstrations and techniques, ask questions, study their creative space and processes, and if you desire, purchase artwork right from the source! This is a unique opportunity and an inspirational event. It is a great way to meet people who share your passion for art, “talk shop”, and interact with them in their own personal studio and workspace.
