Fitchburg Open Studios Announces 2026 Dates

FITCHBURG, Mass. — Fitchburg Open Studios, a free, self-guided art tour, will take place Oct. 17–18, 2026, from noon to 5 p.m. The event is coordinated by the Fitchburg Cultural Alliance.

Now in its seventh year, Fitchburg Open Studios highlights artists working in Fitchburg and surrounding communities. The tour allows visitors to attend as many studios and locations as they choose, with each stop offering a distinct experience.

Centered in the city of Fitchburg, the tour extends to nearby communities, all within a short driving distance. Visitors can follow a printed brochure to plan their route and visit participating studios throughout the weekend.

The event offers the public an opportunity to explore working studios and exhibition spaces, meet artists, observe demonstrations and techniques, and learn more about artistic processes. Artwork will be available for purchase directly from the artists.

Participating locations this year include Boulder Art Gallery, Fitchburg Art Museum, Main Street Studios, CANVAS by Coff33 Corp, Fitchburg Arts Community, and Fitchburg Historical Society in Fitchburg, as well as Creative Connections Gift Shop and Gallery and New Dawn Arts Center in Ashburnham.

For artists, Fitchburg Open Studios provides an opportunity to connect with new audiences, build professional relationships and promote future engagement.
